چکیده
In cultivated landscapes, land use patterns related to the diversity of crops, their spatial arrangement into patches and succession over several years influence many biophysical processes production ecosystem services disservices. Understanding determinants these is a prerequisite for development acceptable alternative patterns. Most studies deem crop distribution at landscape level be result individual allocations successions fields designed farm level. However, in some parts world, there are collective that apply groups adjacent on different farms. The objective this study was examine extent which spatiotemporal crops scale relates successions. based Mediterranean rainfed agricultural (67.7 km2) located northeastern Tunisia, respond constraints fragmentation. Combined with field mapping, remotely sensed time series were used identify three-year sequences, classify them types clusters same type succession. We assumed such cluster if locations did not explain its size (expressed number fields). characteristics land-use environment defined statistically.
